Round table: Conflict Transformation in the Caucasus and the Balkans |

On November 22nd and 23rd Serbian Refugee Council had the pleasure to organize a round table on within the SRC's project "Conflict transformation in the context
of re/integration of displaced people-comparative experiences of the Balkans and
the Caucasus". The project was financially
supported by the Fund for an Open Society in
Belgrade.
The
round table focused on comparison between Georgia and Serbia regarding the situation of displaced
persons (from Abkhazia, Ossetia and Kosovo
respectively) residing in these two countries as well as on peace initiatives
that would help bringing divided communities together. Participants in the round
table discussions were selected from a vast range of experts, practitioners
and direct interest groups from Serbia, Georgia with special interest in forced
migrations and conflict transformation.
